Vitality – the state of being strong and active; full of life. For all the words that come to mind when we think about ourselves and what we want our products and produce to bring to our customers, the word Vitality appropriately encapsulates this.

Vitagrow was founded on 4 principles:

V – Vitality (living a healthy life with energy, passion, spark)

I – Innovation (using data and technology to redefine farming in Africa)

T – Transparency (sustainably grown and traceable fresh produce)

A – African by design (created by Africans in Africa for the world)

We are a fusion of new-age farmers, commercial tinkerers, and dreamers taking outfield agriculture to modern greenhouse farming in the heart of your city. That means we like clean farming; we love being close to our customers and we are inspired to continually innovate our growing methods to grow the best quality produce for our customers and partners.

Who we are

With our climate rapidly changing with a higher frequency of droughts to cyclones impacting rainfall patterns, it is time we as Africans started planning for the future of our food security in Zimbabwe and the continent. Our greenhouse farms allow us to keep farming through droughts and all year round. In addition, we are advocates for preserving our climate which we ensure through our hydroponic farm that utilizes 95% less water, 10x less land, and no pesticides compared to traditional outfield farms in growing our produce.

We are an agri-startup in every sense of the word, small in operation, tight-knit as a team but with ambitions the size of the galaxy! As a team, we are passionate about living out each of our principles like our lives depended on it. These principles will allow us to create as well as promote the healthiest products and lifestyles that will ensure our customers, as well as partners, live the best version of their lives – Strong, Active, Energetic
